Use a Secure Browser when shopping for women. Your browser should comply with industry security standards, such as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). These standards scramble the purchase information you send over the Internet, helping to secure your transaction. When you enter the women secure shopping environment you will see the URL prefix https:// instead of http://

If you pay for women by credit or charge card online, your transaction will be protected by legislation. Under these laws, consumers have the right to dispute women charges under certain circumstances and temporarily withhold payment while the creditor is investigating them. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit or charge card, you are generally held liable only for the first $50 in charges. Some companies offer an online shopping guarantee that ensures you will not be held responsible for any unauthorized charges made online.

You've probably heard of search engines such as Yahoo!, Google, and AltaVista. There are literally dozens of these tools to help you locate the women information you're looking for. The trick is understanding how they work, so you can use the right tool for the job and if the returned list of women sites is useable. We've done this and our summary below will save you hours and hours of time.

Search engines break down into two categories, directories and indexes. Directories, such as Yahoo!, are good at identifying general information but no so good and specific women information. Like a card catalog in a library, they classify websites into similar categories, such as accounting firms, English universities and women providers. The results of your search will be a list of websites related to your search term. For instance, if you are looking for the women, use a directory.

(NC)-The presence of too much of a steroid hormone called cortisol, either from a baby's own adrenal gland, or reaching the baby across the placenta from the mother, can lead to premature birth. As well, excessive exposure to cortisol in the womb may impair growth, alter the way individuals respond to stress after birth, and may result in diabetes and cardiovascular disease, leading to high blood pressure and stroke. The placenta normally protects babies from too much cortisol. John Challis, of the University of Toronto, is seeking to understand how this protective mechanism becomes ineffective. In doing so, he hopes to be able to diagnose, prevent, or treat threatened premature birth, giving babies a better head start on life-long health.

Dr. Challis' research is being funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). CIHR is Canada's preeminent health research catalyst and is funded by the government of Canada. An exciting new concept, CIHR is modernizing and transforming the health research enterprise in Canada.
